Resources For You to Homebrew!
Matt Orozco from Rocky Mountain Homebrew Supply suggests www.learntobrew.com and www.homebrewtalk.com which “are both fantastic, free resources available online”. He also says that “some good books for beginners are The Complete Joy of Homebrewing by Charlie Papazian (pretty much the bible of homebrewing) and Homebrewing for Dummies by Marty Nachel.” Also keep in mind that both of the homebrew shops here in Fort Collins have incredibly nice and helpful employees (like Matt who suggested these materials) who are looking forward to meeting you and answering any questions you have.
If you are interested in investing in a homebrew book, you can look at this website which lists a total of 14 home brewing books.
If you are interested in exploring the idea of home brewing more, check out the New-to-Homebrew links I have on the right side of the page. Also, be sure to look at the links to the YouTube videos that I posted if that is a medium that better suits you.
If you aren’t quite convinced that this is for you, that is okay, too! Hops and berries offers home brewing classes that you can take part in and see the whole process before you have to do it on your own. These classes are a great way to have hands-on experience with home brewing and a perfect way to not take chances and learn it right the first time! Check into the brewing classes at www.hopsandberries.com today.
If you are already convinced and you want to start brewing your own beer, stop by one of the two homebrew shops (www.rockybrew.com, www.hopsandberries.com) and ask about investing in a homebrew starter kit.
